A car crashed into a fence of a home in East Islip - and then drove away.

The incident occurred Tuesday night on Bellmore Avenue and was caught on camera.

The homeowner was inside his house when it happened, and says although there's a lot of damage, he's surprised nobody was hurt.

"Comes rippin' up the lawn, crashes through the fence, zips out backwards and almost hits two people on the lawn," said John Launonen.
