Fairfield team heading to Little League World Series after dominant championship performance

Fairfield took on St. James-Smithtown, New York in Bristol Friday night and came away with a 12-1, mercy rule victory in four innings.

The Connecticut team earned their way into the Little League World Series next week with a win in the Metro Regional Championship game.
Fairfield took on St. James-Smithtown, New York in Bristol Friday night and came away with a 12-1, mercy rule victory in four innings.
Every Fairfield player reached base during the game.
This is the first time Fairfield Little League has won the district and is representing Connecticut.
The Little League World Series begins next week.
