WHAT TO KNOW:
  • Hot and humid Sunday.
  • Pop up storms after 5 p.m. More likely for New Jersey and the city.
  • Cooler work week.
TODAY: Hot & Humid.
Temperatures will soar to near 90F for most of the afternoon with feels like temperatures in the mid 90s. A pop up afternoon storm is possible after 5 p.m.
MONDAY: Cooler & Less Humid
Cloudy to start, then peeks of afternoon sunshine with highs in the 70s.
TUESDAY: Pick of the week!
A mix of sun and clouds with highs in the 70s.

THURSDAY: Dangerous surf
Hurricane Erin makes it's closest approach. Dry conditions are expected, but large swells will produce coastal flooding in usual trouble spots along with large swells. This will start Wednesday, but be at their worst on Thursday.
