6h agoA man’s body was pulled from the water off Atlantic Beach Monday afternoon, the NYPD says.
Police responded just before 4 p.m. to a 911 call near Crest Road and Beach 25th Street.
They say the unidentified male recovered from the water was “unconscious and unresponsive” and pronounced dead at the scene.
An immediate cause of death has not yet been determined.
