Police: DWI crash kills East Hampton high school student; 6 others injured

A crash in East Hampton killed a high school student and injured several others on Sunday, police say.
According to East Hampton Town Police, the single-car crash happened on Stone Highway near Deep Six Drive. Police say the vehicle left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree on Sunday night.
Luis Gonzalo Barrioneuevo-Fuertes was arrested, accused of driving while intoxicated.
Scarleth Urgiles, 19, who attended East Hampton High School, was pronounced dead at the scene. Six others were hospitalized.
The school says they are offering support services to students.
