18h agoAn 8-year-old bicyclist was struck by a car and seriously injured Saturday afternoon in Wyandanch.
Police say the boy veered into the middle of the road when a Honda CRV hit him near the corner of Brook Avenue and Spruce Street.
The child was hospitalized for treatment. The driver was issued a summons for driving with a permit only.
Detectives urge anyone with additional information to call 631- 854-8152.
