A man was pulled unconscious from a public pool in North Babylon early Sunday afternoon.
Police say the 46-year-old from Brooklyn was in the deep end at Phelps Lane Town Pool when he may have suffered a medical event.
Detectives say he went under water around 2:15 p.m.
He was taken to the hospital where he was listed in serious condition as of Sunday night.
